Another year ending

It was a quiet and enjoyable holiday season. Good food, good fun, good presents, and my Dad managed to stay out of the hospital this year. All in all a great time! We even got a bit done on the house!

Okay, so it wasn’t a LOT, but it was something. We got nine bags of recycling, and one bag of …. um …. “stuff” from the bunnarium out. We also started working on the hallway which, of course, I forgot to take a “before” picture of. Oh well. I’ll take a “not quite as before as before” picture and take it from there. Meanwhile, here’s proof of the bags (and the snow).

Looking back on 2012, it was a mixture of a year. Some ups, some downs, some good, some not so good. I’m hoping for something truly special out of 2013. Not quite sure what, but it feels like it’s going to be a year of changes.

Thank you again for all your support and encouragement, and let’s plow on into the coming year with enthusiasm and hope.

I have just spent the last hour or so reading every post on your blog, my friend. You are amazing and I admire so much the courage and honesty with which you have tackled both the physical and emotional excavation. Be proud, be very proud!

Overall though, a year of progress! Maybe not as much as you’d hoped or intended, but the general trend forward has definitely continued! Stay strong, you can do it!
